In the past year, many companies have withdrawn from writing Auto or Home insurance in California. We urge all clients to do the following:
1) Do not cancel existing policies and make sure all payments are current since many companies will no longer honor “Grace” periods due to late payments. If your policy cancels for non-payment, you will not be able to reinstate it quickly or for the same premiums.
2) Expect sharp increases in Auto & Home insurance for the time being as many companies are also tightening up their underwriting criteria. Please promptly respond to any requests for updates and work with your agent to secure coverages in a timely fashion.
3) We apologize for these delays and premium increases but these issues are happening nationwide and are impacting millions of consumers. We at Tsuneishi Insurance are doing our best to ensure our clients receive complete coverage at the best available rates.
